A KOT (Kitchen Order Ticket) is the slip that tells the kitchen what to cook. It lists the table number (or takeaway), the items and quantities, and sometimes notes like “less spicy”. It’s different from the bill — the KOT goes to the kitchen and has no prices; the bill goes to the customer.
